There are the Critical Race Theorists, who I think have a lot of exceedingly important things to say, and then folks like Perkins, who I think hold a Christ-centered answer to the issue. You missed an interesting discussion on race in Sunday School. The best reading I've done on community, race and SES from a Christian perspective. After yer done, all other stuff will seem like you're reading it just to stay in the loop. It will yield little else. Just started reading "On the Edge..." with the boys and they are totally freaked by the carriage. Oops. Guess we'll have to leave their light on for a few nights.
