I'm not usually a fan of winter or Christmas specific brews, especially spiced ones. They've all got too much cinnamon. Harpoon makes a great Irish Red for St. Patty's, which they call their Hibernian Ale. It's too bad this one in particular was such a bomb. Whoa, harsh dude!
